The advent of blogging in this decade has inspired an unprecedented and vibrant discussion about the state of education in our country.  Never before has a national, organized network been available to effectively critique the system, influence public opinion, sway government action and give much-deserved recognition to the unsung shining stars that truly make a difference in the lives of students and lifetime learners.

Now you tell us—which blogs have made a difference in our community?  We want to know!  Give your favorite blog the distinction of being nominated for the ED '08 Blog of the Year Award.  Here's how:

• Nominate your favorite blog(s)—as many as you'd like—by no later than May 4th.
• If your eloquent, thought-provoking blog deserves consideration, don't be shy!  Submit your own blog for nomination.
• After that, be sure to select your choice by returning for the open voting period to be held from May 5th - May 14th.
